1. Services and Scope

Paintersalbury provides architectural coating inspection, historical color matching, and surface conservation services. These include micro-chemical analysis of vintage pigment residues, moisture accumulation analysis in plaster walls, and protective sealant certification against UV and salt corrosion. All services are performed in accordance with industry standards and are documented in a written report delivered to the client.

2. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide accurate information about the structure, its history, and any previous treatments. Access to the site must be granted in a timely manner. The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals for inspection work on their property.

3. Limitation of Liability

Paintersalbury's liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for structural damage discovered during inspection, nor for decisions made based on our analysis that are outside the scope of our written recommendations. Our reports are advisory and do not replace structural engineering assessments or contractor evaluations.

4. Intellectual Property

All reports, analysis data, color matching formulas, and documentation produced by Paintersalbury remain our intellectual property. The client receives a license to use these materials for the purpose of maintaining or restoring the inspected structure. Redistribution or commercial use of our reports without written consent is prohibited.

5. Termination of Use

Either party may terminate a service agreement with 14 days written notice. In case of termination, the client is responsible for payment for services rendered up to the termination date. Paintersalbury reserves the right to refuse service if site conditions pose a safety risk or if the client fails to provide accurate information.

6. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
